BMW CONCEPT 6

BMW has participated at the Milan show with a new interresting concept bike. Even if the 6-inline-cylinder engines were used until now just in the automotoive field, those from BMW have thought it would be a good idea to use the same engine on motorcycles. They want to use this kind of engine in the future as a basis for a lot new BMW tourers. The engine position respectively weight center is a bit lower and the 130 Nm of torque starts as low as 2.000 rpm, what makes this engine ideal for BMW touring motorcycles. The 1600 cc engine produces 140 HP and the consumption is not bigger than at a 4 cylinder engine. The suspension is evolved and it is based on an alloy structure with Duolever and Paralever arms. Although the motorcycle does not have a Tachometer, instead it has a torque indicator which displays how much torque you have left.
