World's most expensive motorcycles !

In 1860 Sylvester Howard Roper designed one of the first motorcycles and ussualy displayed it at circuses around the Eastern U.S. Not only americans had motorcycles, but europeans also used them especially in the World Wars because it was a fast way to move from one place to another. With the time the motorcycles progressed and today they have so powerful and fast engines that they can easily compete with comercial airplanes reaching speeds of 400 mph or 643 kph. It is very easy to have such a motorcycle if you have a buget of at least 100.000 euros. We have found 4 motorcycle with prices between 100.000 and 200.000 euros making them the most expensive motorbikes in the world.

On the fourth place we have the italian MV Agusta F4 CC, the last two letters "CC" being the initials of Claudio Castiglioni's name, the director of the motorcycle company. This "stallion" has an 1078 cc engine producing 192 hp and is reaching a top speed of 195 mph or 315 kph. This beautiful motorcycle costs 100.000 euros.

The third place is occupied by MTT Turbine Superbike, a motorcycle holding the world record for being the most powerful and fast motorcycle ever to enter series production. Also known as Y2K Turbine Superbike is created by Ted McIntyre and the model appeared somewhere in 2000. It has a Rolls-Royce-Allison Model 250 turboshaft engine, producing 320 hp and reaches a top speed of 227 mph or 370 kph.

On the second place we have the Macchia Nera Concept Bike, a motorcycle costing 150.000 euros. Nera, which means black in italian, was produced in 2004 and is based on a Ducati 998 WSB engine. It is very lightweight being built from aluminum and titanium metals and alloys. This is the ultimate track bike.

And here comes the first place, a motorcycle that I can only dream for, is the powerful Dodge Tomahawk V10 superbike. This beauty costs 170.000 euros but not the price is what matters and neither the fact that the production is limited to a few hundred models, but its top-speed its astonishing. It has a V10 engine bringing the bike to a maximum speed of 400 mph or 643 kph. It can reach 100 kph in just 2.5 seconds. It is the most expensive series produced motorcycle.
